Cairo Arévalo is an innovation strategist working at the intersection of venture capital, public policy, and startup ecosystems in Latin America and the Caribbean. He currently advises PROMIPYME and designs acceleration programs that turn early-stage founders into scalable, investment-ready companies. He leads programs EmprendeLab® and I+D Lab®, driving innovation across fintech, AI, and digital infrastructure.
Cairo serves on the board of the Fund CONFIE, bridging early-stage validation with venture capital pathways. CONFIE is one of the most underestimated instruments in the Dominican entrepreneurial ecosystem: a public first-investment fund designed to close the critical early-stage capital gap faced by startups and new ventures. He is a Venture Institute (VC Lab) Fellow and Co-Founder of Bullish Labs.
His work focuses on connecting talent, capital, and opportunity to build globally competitive companies.
